Finally
So the long awaited Moon shots are coming now..I like the colours and the way you made moon not being the center focus of the pic...too much zoom could have killed the pic I guess.

Danke euch, thanks!
Sushil you've hit the nail on the head there...on that morning i was on the spot about 1hr before dawn...the night had been cold and clear, there was no other soul around, and i felt the moon as a very strong presence, connecting to me. Shortly before dawn, the first sunrays painted those high clouds pink, while the sky in the background got brighter, and very blue. This combination allowed me to capture sky, moon and clouds in one exposure. I tried to capture the intimate atmosphere i felt that morning, i feel that this simple composition reflects my "inner landscape" on that moment. You're right about zooming: zooming in on the moon and blending out the clouds would have taken out the pull of this scene. Phil |

Picturesque
I see how religously you earned this shot!
Its a mouthshut composition... the colours are appreciatively vivid and yet very distinct. I like the way you caught thosewaves of pink clourds and the intense blue sky.... its an apparent painting :-) Cheers nessy |

Heyhey nessy, welcome aboard! Thanks for your comment, i see from your own images that you're developing a soft spot for painting-like, abstract photos, which is good
![]() Looking forward to more of your shots! Take care Phil |
